a month agoI would call this place a hidden gem. The outside of the resturant leaves you questioning what you are walking in to. But, once you walk inside youre greeted with smiling waiters and a beautifully decorated and clean resturant. The menu was large and had a wide variety of asian cuisines. We got the Beef Pho and Beef Stew and Thai Teas. Im not exaggerating when I say everything was perfect and blew me away.

a month agoFabulous fried vegetarian spring rolls, perfectly cooked. Our group had pho, pork over rice, and fried rice. The pho was very good, very flavorful, and tender beef. It was a little sweet for my taste. The service was really nice and the resturant was clean. My kids also each had a slushie - not so great, flavors did not taste true to the fruit and too sweet. For what we went for, the pho, it was very good. We definitely go back again when in the area.

4 months agoMy wife, toddler and I had lunch here and it was a great experience. No wait, immaculately clean table with all sorts of sauces, condiments and tools available to you. We probably ordered too many items but there were several things we wanted to try. My wife and I each got a large bowl of Pho with brisket and steak. The soup was sweet, savory and citrusy with a small mountain of extra toppings like mint and jalapeno to add at your leisure. The meats were tender and not overdone and were plentiful. The serving size was very large. My wife and I could probably have split one and a banh mi (which was huge and flavorful if just a bit too heavy on bread). Service was very quick and our food came out hot and fresh within a few minutes of ordering. Definitely a great Pho place, especially for this side of town.

7 months agoVery good, very tasty. Server was very attentive. (You have to grab your take-away boxes yourself. Your bill is waiting for you at the cash register.) All of our food was excellent. The quality of our chicken wings was excellent. Fried crispy and dressed in a delicious sweet sauce and veges. Shrimp app, great, eggrolls GREAT, spring rolls awesome. The peanut sauce, i heard, was ok, but not as good as others. I do not eat peanuts and it is no problem to get food "no peanut", just say "no peanut." (Im also "no gluten" " no msg", lol, but i did not say that). Carefully read the menu, and order accordingly. I have a lot of food issues, but i had no problems here. If you are sensitive, like me, to lots of food i have great news for you: you can eat here. Its all fresh. I use the chili sauce instead of peanut, i eat rice noodles, and rice paper wrapped spring rolls, grilled pork, shrimp, and chicken. The portions are really big and each meal was $13.00 to $15.50, which is typical anywhere. Two of us got boba, and they were good. I requested hot tea and it came in my own tea pot. Dishes were removed timely, water refilled often. No complaints. I cant wait to go back!

7 months agoBest service and pho ever. EVER. We eat here all the time and are never disappointed in the food or service. The service is quick just like the delivery of the food. Truly impeccable.

11 months agoThis is one of the better Vietnamese restaurants in the Richmond area. Its in the cut in Virginia Commons and just happened to drive by and said I'm gonna give it a try. I was pleased that I did. This is my go to spot now. The food is fresh and very tasty...excellent flavor with the broken rice dishes and the pho. I've go there every couple of weeks now and have loved mostly everything.

a year agoFood was good and quick. The Beef Pho was tasty and the meat was good. Our Grilled Pork Spring rolls where delicious and the sauce that comes with it made them even better. The place is a little dark when you first come in but cool looking.

2 years agoOverall Rating: 2.9/10 The food's quality varied widely, yet it was the lackluster service and atmosphere that truly made this establishment fall short of expectations. Atmosphere: 1.1/10 Visiting at 11 AM to find the place deserted contributed to an unsettling quiet. Outdated holiday decorations long after the season passed added to the sense of disarray. Service: 1.2/10 Interaction with the staff was minimal and unwelcoming, with guests left to navigate the menu without assistance. The establishment's temperature was uncomfortably cold, to the point where the staff wore hoodies. Dishes served were only mildly warm and quickly became cold, affecting their edibility. There was also confusion with the order, as an unintended extra dish was served. Payment instructions were unclear, with not very obvious posted signs on a wall indicating payment at the counter rather than table service. Food: Beef Pho: 7.5/10 The standout dish was the Beef Pho, with a broth so flavorful that no additional seasoning was needed—a stark contrast to the rest of the meal. Pork Fried Rice: 4.6/10 The dish was overwhelmed by an excess of peas, which dominated the flavor and detracted from the overall balance. Pork Fresh Roll: 3.2/10 The rolls were mediocre and unfortunately paired with a sweet sauce instead of the expected peanut sauce, leading to a mismatched and unsatisfying taste. Value: 2.9/10 With a pre-tip total of $84, which included a few appetizers, the pricing felt steep, especially for dishes like the $14 pork fried rice, which did not meet the anticipated standards. The cost did not reflect the quality of the food and overall dining experience.
